Sound
In media we have only viewed minimally some of the sound aspects used in media platforms such as diegetic and non-diegetic sounds.A brief explanation of both would be that diegetic sounds are what match what is happening on the scene to an extent. So, a good example would have to be the characters speech as the lip movement is visible. Therefore, non-diegetic sound briefly would be the sounds that are not visible in the the screen, so an example of this could be music in in a film.Another sound characteristic of films is the emphasis of sounds in a film, so an example of this would have to be a punch in a film can be emphasised by editing sounds like breaking a celery stick.
There, is also some other sounds which we are yet to discuss and this includes voice-overs etc.
