The brief was set by our teacher, to make a video which used a editing tecnique.We had to do this without using any programming device.So, basically we had to use a flip camera making the shots in chronological order as it would be played just by putting the device in the computer.
We had the task of making a cross cut editing technique and this was the cross cut or rather reffered to as the parallel technique.A cross cut is used in media platforms such as films to show two characters for example doing different things but fowarding to the same narrative.For example a phone conversation taking place in different areas or a date which might be seen in a romcom of two people getting dressed to meet eachother after the sequence of shots has occured.
This is one of many editing techniques.
